AFTERCALL · CALL INTELLIGENCE

Every call analysed.Your playbook enforced.Nothing important missed.

Aftercall reads every call your team makes, checks it against the way you actually run your business, and gets the right information to the right person. Coaching for the team. Alerts for you. Clean CRM entries. No more blind spots.

THE PROBLEM

Your phone calls are your best business data. You're getting almost none of it.

Admin drowns the team

Call notes get re-typed, CSVs get assembled by hand, someone spends their Friday stitching reports together. That time comes straight out of serving customers.

Rebooks slip through the cracks

The client mentioned dates, the follow-up was promised, then nobody owned it. The rebook quietly died. You find out next month, in the revenue line.

Problems surface too late

The complaint was in a call three weeks ago. Nobody heard it except the person on the phone. By the time it reaches you it's a lost account, not a fixable moment.

HOW IT WORKS

A controlled pipeline, not a black box

01
CALL ENDS ON 3CX

Call data and recording collected automatically, duplicates deduplicated by call ID.

02
CALL CLASSIFIED

Voicemails, wrong numbers and 20-second calls filtered out first. The rest classified: rebook, enquiry, complaint, recruitment, finance. The type decides the playbook.

03
YOUR PLAYBOOK APPLIED

Your process, your mandatory fields, your rules. Encoded once, versioned.

04
FOUR OUTPUTS

Coaching, alerts, CRM update, trend data. Every call.

05
GUARDIAN AGENT

Watches for drift, flags gold calls, drafts playbook updates. You approve, it learns.

WHAT YOU GET

Four things happen after every call

Coaching digests

One thing done well. One specific improvement. One suggested phrase. One next action. Drafted after every call for your manager to review and pass on. Never a public scoreboard.

Management alerts

Red: complaints, safeguarding, commitments outside authority. Amber: missed next steps, price objections, missing booking info. Green means silence. You only hear what matters.

Structured CRM updates

Structured fields, a concise human note, confidence scores. Written into Zoho when it's high confidence, drafted for approval when it isn't. Never a wall of AI text.

Director trends

Why clients don't rebook. Objection patterns by site, location, lead source. Wrong-number and voicemail rates per source, so you see when a list is going stale. When decision makers actually answer. Conversion by call type and team member. The patterns across 5,000 calls that no single call shows you.

COACHING DIGEST · EXISTING-CLIENT REBOOK · DRAFTED FOR MANAGER REVIEW
Strong
Dates, times and urgency confirmed clearly.
Improve
Price raised, but no follow-up time was agreed.
Phrase
"I'll check availability and come back to you by 2pm today. Does that work?"
AMBER ALERT · CALL 3CX-123456 · 18:42
High-value rebook with no agreed next step. Comparable calls stall after this pattern. Recommended: acknowledge the change load, offer a phased pilot, secure a dated next step with the right people.
GREEN = NO MESSAGE. YOU ONLY SEE WHAT MATTERS.

DATA HEALTH

The calls that go nowhere are data too.

Every call gets a disposition: wrong number, voicemail, no answer, too short, no decision maker, or a real conversation. The filter keeps noise out of your coaching. The ledger turns that noise into an early-warning system for your business.

LIST DECAY

Stale data, caught early

Wrong-number rate by lead source, trended week to week. A rising rate means a decaying list, spotted before it burns your team's dialling hours.

SOURCE ECONOMICS

Which lists actually talk back

Cost per real conversation per source. Know which paid lists and campaigns produce conversations, not just dials.

ANSWER PATTERNS

When decision makers pick up

Answer rates by time of day and day of week, from your own traffic. Schedule dials for when your market actually answers.

QUIET SHIFTS

What's changing before it's obvious

Complaint ratio, enquiry mix, rebook share, trended. See a service problem building weeks before the reviews show it.

DATA HEALTH · WEEK 32 · PRIVATE TO MANAGEMENT
LIST A · BOUGHT LIST22% WRONG NUMBERS, UP 6 PTS
LIST B · REFERRALS3% WRONG NUMBERS, STEADY
ANSWER PEAK08:30-09:30 · 2.3X DAILY AVERAGE
COMPLAINT SHARE9% OF CALLS, UP FROM 4%
MANAGEMENT SEES TEAMS AND SOURCES, NEVER AN INDIVIDUAL SCOREBOARD. A PERSON'S DIAL PATTERNS REACH THEIR MANAGER AS COACHING MATERIAL, NOT A PUBLIC RANKING.

The dials that go nowhere used to be noise. Now they're the early-warning system.

THE HONEST COMPARISON

3CX transcribes. Aftercall manages.

3CX already does

  • Records and stores calls
  • Transcribes on AI editions
  • Sentiment score in reports
  • Call volume dashboards

Aftercall adds

  • Applies YOUR playbook to every call
  • Coaching digests, one point at a time
  • Red/amber alerts, silence when green
  • Structured CRM writes with confidence gates
  • Outcome trends across all your calls
  • Monthly human review and playbook upkeep

If all you want is a transcript, 3CX already sells you one. If you want your process enforced on every call, that's what this is.

CONNECTORS

Built on 3CX today. The roadmap follows what your peers actually run.

BOLT-ON · CONTENT ENGINE

Your callers write your marketing. You just approve it.

Every question, objection and phrase your customers use on the phone is already captured by the engine. The Content Engine turns a month of real calls into drafted posts, newsletters and FAQ pages, in your customers' own words. Marketing agencies guess what customers care about. You will know.

Built from what was actually asked

The questions callers repeat every week become posts. The objections your team fields become comparison pages. The phrases that book shifts become your website copy. Nothing invented: every draft traces back to real calls.

Drafted for approval, never auto-published

Same rule as everything else in Aftercall: the system drafts, a human approves. Nothing reaches your social channels, newsletter or website without your sign-off. No client is ever quoted or identifiable: content comes from patterns across calls, never a single conversation.

CONTENT DRAFT · WEEKLY PACK · AWAITING YOUR APPROVAL
Post
"The 5 questions every client asks about weekend cover" (asked 23 times this month)
Newsletter
"What a month of booking calls tells us about autumn demand" (trend: rebook share up 12%)
FAQ
"How late can I move a booking?" (top unanswered question, 14 calls)
Social
3 short posts from this week's most-handled objection, drafted in your customers' words

Try it free for a month

The Content Engine is a bolt-on to any Aftercall plan, usually £99/month. Your first month is free with any plan: one weekly pack of drafted posts, one monthly newsletter draft and the FAQ patterns from your real calls. Approve what's good, bin the rest. If it doesn't earn its place in month one, it costs you nothing and never runs again.

30,000+ MINUTES A MONTH: TALK TO US. BANDS SIZED FROM YOUR REAL CDR DATA AFTER A WEEK OF RUNNING. 3-MONTH MINIMUM, THEN CANCEL ANY MONTH, YOU OWN YOUR DATA.

HOW THE PRICING WORKS

The first quarter covers the build. Monthly covers the running.

THE FIRST QUARTER

Shadow mode, the signed playbook, confirmed gold calls, the compliance pack, assisted mode live. Three months minimum because that's how long doing it properly takes.

MONTHLY AFTER THAT

Call processing, coaching digests, alerts, CRM drafts, guardian suggestions, trend dashboards. Rolling, cancel any month after the first quarter.

NO LOCK-IN AFTER THAT

Your data, your playbook, your transcripts. Export everything, any time. If we're not worth it, don't pay us.

ROLLOUT

We start in shadow mode. Your team never hears about it until you're happy.

STAGE 01
SHADOW MODE

We process 30-50 real calls together. You review every AI output. Nothing written to your CRM, nothing sent to your team.

STAGE 02
ASSISTED

Coaching digests are drafted after every call and your managers review them before anything is passed on. CRM notes are drafted and a human approves each one. Red/amber alerts are tested with you.

STAGE 03
CONTROLLED AUTOMATION

High-confidence calls write themselves, under gates. Anything uncertain becomes a draft, not a decision.

YOUR PART

A few hours of your time. That's how the playbook becomes yours.

ONBOARDING · THE FIRST 2-3 WEEKS
  • A 30-45 minute chat with our onboarding agent: one session per director, in your own words
  • About an hour a week reviewing what the agent drafts: playbook sections, gold-call labels, accuracy reports
  • Confirming or correcting proposed labels in the review screen, never starting from a blank page
  • Signing off the playbook and the compliance pack: the agent drafts them, you approve
  • Naming one decision owner per area: sales, operations, finance, and the final say
ONGOING · THE STEADY STATE
  • About 30 minutes a month, reviewing the guardian agent's suggestions
  • Approving playbook updates when your process changes: the agent drafts them, you approve
  • A minute here and there, approving or correcting draft CRM notes
  • Adding a gold call when something notable happens, good or bad
  • Every quarter: a short look back at the patterns, with your directors

If your directors can't spare the onboarding time, this isn't the right fit. We'll say so in the first call, before anyone spends a pound.

THE HONEST BIT

What this is not

Not surveillance

The AI drafts coaching after every call, and a manager reviews it before anything is passed on. There are no public scoreboards and no automated discipline. Green means silence. That's the whole design.

Not an autopilot

The AI never approves a discount, confirms availability, or makes a commercial commitment. It extracts, recommends and flags. People decide.

Not a score out of 100

Every call is judged against your playbook for that call type. A universal score would be meaningless, so we don't produce one.

COMPLIANCE

GDPR-ready, policy pack included

Worker monitoring is the part every business fears and most software ignores. We did the homework so you don't have to. Every implementation includes the policy pack: documented purpose, lawful-basis assessment and DPIA support, staff consultation, monitoring policy, caller notice, retention schedule, and a dispute process. Built for the way UK businesses actually have to run.

  • DPIA SUPPORT
  • STAFF CONSULTATION
  • MONITORING POLICY
  • CALLER NOTICE
  • RETENTION + DELETION SCHEDULE
  • HUMAN APPEAL PROCESS

FAQ

Questions owners ask

Which 3CX versions work with this?

Call data export is standard across 3CX editions. We verify your edition, licence and transcript route in the first week of setup, before anything else is built.

Who sees the coaching?

The AI drafts a coaching digest after each call. Your managers review the drafts and decide what to pass on to each team member. There are no public scoreboards and nothing is automated into discipline: this exists to remove admin and improve service, not to catch people out.

What about my team's trust?

Shadow mode comes first, staff consultation is included, and anyone can dispute an AI assessment through a human review. This exists to remove admin and catch problems early, not to catch people out.

What does it cost to run?

Roughly 2p per call of processing. The price you pay is for the playbook, the accuracy loop and the human review layer, not the electricity.

Can it write to Zoho?

Yes. Structured fields, notes, tasks and follow-ups, with confidence gates on every write. CRM writeback is an optional add-on because it needs extra setup on your systems: drafts are included in every plan, and you choose the writeback tier when you're ready. FileMaker and other systems available on request.

Why price by minutes, not calls?

A ten-minute call costs more to process than a one-minute call, and call counts hide that. Minutes are the honest unit: a 2,500-minute month might be 800 short booking calls or 250 long consultations, and you pay for the work either way. Your band is confirmed from your real call data, not estimated.

How much of my time does this take?

A 30-45 minute chat with our onboarding agent per director, about an hour a week reviewing its drafts during the first weeks, then around 30 minutes a month approving suggestions. If that's more than your directors can spare, we'll say so in the first call.

We don't run 3CX. Can you still help?

The engine is telephony-agnostic. If your system can export call records and recordings, we can connect it. Gamma Horizon, BT Cloud Voice and Yeastar are next in line, and the rest of the roadmap follows demand. Tell us what you run.

What is the Content Engine?

An optional bolt-on that turns the questions, objections and phrases from your real calls into drafted social posts, newsletter items and FAQ pages. Everything is drafted for your approval, nothing auto-publishes, and no caller is ever quoted or identifiable. It usually costs £99/month; your first month is free with any plan.
